The petals on this bouquet look so silky, you want to touch them. The rich oil paint glides over the aluminium and dries leaving a smooth tactale glaze. Because the paint doesn't soak into the substrate, it maintains it's vibrqancy, and I just love Magenta and Phylo Blue together. The paint was thickly scraped over the panel using a palette knife alla prima. Sadly a real bouquet fades away, but this never will!
