Alfons and his beautiful soul are in doggie heaven. Losing him was one of the most painful things that I have endured, and my heart still bleeds. This picture was to capture him in his joyful state, asking for the stick to be thrown for him on the beach. Pure pleasure. Occasionally when I go back to Amsterdam, I see a stick on the pavement before my front door, and I like to think that he's home. I love to create pet portraits and using pencil and chalk felt right for this one. Commissions start at 1200 AUD
