I went to see Julie Mehretu’s exhibition at the MCA in Sydney together with my Mother-In-Law. She is 83 and visiting from The Netherlands. I didn’t expect her to appreciate the abstract style of art, so I was thrilled to see that she loved it. It just goes to show you, never judge! We were both in awe at the exhibition, and the short film about Julie’s life was so interesting.
