As a relative introvert, I get 'peopled-out' by too much 'peopling'. This painting uses one continuous line to capture the faces engaging in one continuous chatter. As I struggle to tune in and cancel sounds out, I hear every conversation going on around me. Unfortunately, this seems to get worse as I get older and as I don't drink, I can no longer drown the noise out. Don't get me wrong, I love to hang out with my friends, but it can be exhausting to my nervous system if the acoustics are bad.
