"Wake up and smell the roses" is a common saying… No matter how bad things look, if you enjoy the simple pleasures that life bestows, you can get through most things. It's so true what they say, "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger", however, an issue for future generations is that they have less and less contact with nature. Nature allows to breath and re-group, it's essential. If you cannot find wonder in nature, you will always be tangled in the barbed wire of daily life. I love the way that the magenta flower stands out amongst the grey hues of the painting.
